List of Lectures & Conferences

Basic Science Lectures: This is Neurology basic science resident lectures with an emphasis on cerebrovascular diseases (i.e. cerebrovascular neuroanatomy, cerebrovascular neuropathology, etc.). The dates of these specific conference will be available in the beginning of academic year. These conferences typically occur on Mondays at Noon, but may also be held on Wednesdays at Noon.

Clinical Didactic Conferences: This is neurology clinical science resident lectures with an emphasis on cerebrovascular diseases. The dates of these specific conferences will be available in the beginning of academic year. These conferences typically occur on Wednesdays at noon, but may also be held on Mondays at noon.

Cerebrovascular Case Conference: It is an interdisciplinary case conferences attended by Neurosurgery, Neurointerventional Radiology, Neurocritical Care, and Vascular Neurology faculty, staff, and residents. The conference is led by a vascular neurology fellow or senior resident. In general, 2 to 3 patient cases will be presented and discussed by the group. This conference occurs weekly on Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Stroke/Neurocritical Care Journal Club: It is a combined monthly stroke/neurocritical care journal club lead by the vascular neurology clinic fellow or neuro-critical care fellow. This conference occurs monthly on a Tuesday at noon.

Neurosciences Grand Rounds: The Neurosciences Grand Rounds occurs on each Thursday at 11:00 am with a speaker either internally or externally. Usually there are 4 slots dedicated to stroke topics.
