The Clinical division is conducting several multi-institutional studies into clinical outcomes of chronic rhinosinusitis and endoscopic skull base surgery.

Rhinology Basic Science Research

The Rhinology & Airway Immunology Lab, headed by Jennifer K. Mulligan, Ph.D., is investigating immunologic aspects of chronic inflammatory diseases of the airway.

Publications

Our group has published over 150 articles spanning the entire surgical, medical and basic science realm of sinus disorders. Areas of research interest include understanding the pathophysiology of chronic rhinosinusitis, understanding outcomes of medical and surgical treatments for chronic rhinosinusitis, skull base surgery, pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis, and cystic fibrosis.
