  5. A minimum of three (3) Letters of Recommendation: Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE), one of the three required letters must be from a PM&R physician.
    • If you have participated in additional training or education since medical school, include a letter from each training program director.
    • The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) has developed a Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) to provide a consistent, specialty-specific assessment tool for medical students applying to PM&R residency programs. The SLOE offers meaningful insights into an applicant’s clinical performance, professionalism, and potential for success in PM&R training.

The additional information collected by the supplemental application will help our program learn more about the applicants’ background and will improve our ability to identify suitable candidates who embody our program’s core values.

Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted via the email address on their application in ERAS.

International Medical Graduates

International Medical Graduates are welcome to apply. Graduation from a school that is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is required.
