Jenna Brown serves as the Director of Development supporting Surgery, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. A seasoned development professional, Jenna brings a track record of advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic fundraising, community partnerships, and donor engagement.

Before joining MUSC, Jenna was the National Director of Development for the Spina Bifida Association of America, where she led nationwide fundraising initiatives to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by Spina Bifida. She also served as Director of Development at Camp Rise Above and worked as a development consultant, helping nonprofits build sustainable philanthropic programs.

As a native Charlestonian, Jenna is deeply committed to strengthening the health and well-being of her community. Her daughter, Harper, has been a lifelong patient at MUSC, making this work especially personal and meaningful. For Jenna, serving MUSC is a full-circle moment that has deepened her appreciation for compassionate care, innovation, and the power of philanthropy to create lasting impact.

In her work, Jenna believes in meeting every family, patient, and donor where they are—with empathy, respect, and a shared vision for healthier tomorrows. She is inspired daily by the resilience of those facing health challenges and is honored to help advance MUSC’s mission of excellence in patient care, education, and discovery right here in her hometown.
