Charleston Pharyngoesophageal Manometry Program

Conference Description

This Introductory/Intermediate program, designed for speech language-pathologists and physicians, will consist of didactic sessions to introduce participants to the basic of high-resolution pharyngeal manometry (HRPM).  Hands on training experiences and case based examples will then serve to expand participants' understanding of the clinical applications of HRPM. Both pharyngeal and esophageal examinations as well as adult and pediatric population will be covered. The focus will be on diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of HRPM as well s protocols for pharyngeal dysphagia patients.

Credit Designation

The fee for in-person attendance includes tuition, breaks, online syllabus, and certificates of attendance. The fee for livestreaming the meeting includes tuition, online syllabus, and certificates of attendance. Pre-registrations will be accepted until January 27, 2025 or until the conference capacity is reached. After this date, you must contact the MUSC Office of CME (cmeoffice@musc.edu or 843-876-1925) to see if space is still available.

Cancellation

A refund will be made upon written request prior to January 27, 2025; however, $75 will be retained for administrative costs. No refunds will be made after January 27, 2025. We reserve the right to cancel the program if necessary. Full registration fees will be refunded for canceled programs. By registering for this conference, you agree to this cancellation policy.
