What would be your advice to high school students wanting a job in your field?

"Remember why you want this and keep moving forward. The road is long and hard, but you can do it, no matter where you’re starting from. Work on getting that college acceptance, study hard, pursue ALL of your interests, and get a mentor in medicine to help you on this journey. If you’re a SC student, reach out to your local AHEC for pipeline (pathway) programs."
