Join us and the Executive Committee for Research and Research Administration welcomes you to a special Grand Rounds format as we sponsor a “datablitz” on advances in technology research that is being conducted within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This novel format would allow multiple projects to be highlighted from the Department. The current datablitz will include presentations by Drs. Hannah Espelata, Sarah Hales, Connie Guille and Alyssa Rheingold.

Dr. Espeleta will provide an overview of an online toolkit for mental health providers, originally designed for in-person services, and will discuss how the toolkit has been additionally utilized in telementalhealth services.

Dr. Guille will describe a patient and provider-informed technology enhanced solution to improve screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment, called Listening to Women (LTW).

Dr. Hales will discuss the development of pilot data related to a brief multidisciplinary weight loss intervention.

And lastly, Dr. Rheingold will describe the design and implementation of a health system level intervention through the electronic health record (EHR) modifications to screen, detect, and facilitate physician guidance in brief intervention for intimate partner violence in primary care clinics.

At the completion of the presentation, attendees will be able to:
1. Provide an example of an implementation initiative that leverages technology to enhance access to and engagement in EBPs for traumaexposed youth.
2. Provide an example of an evidence-based multidisciplinary intervention for weight loss delivered using telehealth technology.
3. To become familiar with a technology-based systems approach to improving SBIRT in outpatient obstetrics practice.
4. To become familiar with an EHR approach to detecting intimate partner violence in primary care clinics.
