The department of OB/GYN at MUSC places a high value on diversity and inclusion. In turn we actively seek to enrich our resident applicant pool with minority students. We believe that encouraging diversity in our students, residents, fellows, faculty and staff allow us to relate to our patients in the best way possible. Our department is committed to the recruitment of diverse individuals through our participation in the Underrepresented in Medicine Visiting Student Program at MUSC which provides funds for educational expenses for visiting students.
