Credit Designation

The Medical University of South Carolina designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing Credit: This activity has been submitted to Lowcountry AHEC for approval to award contact hours. Lowcountry AHEC is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Pharmacy Hours: 
The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This activity is eligible for ACPE credit; see final CPE activity announcement for specific details. 

Dental Credit: The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.  ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. Registration Fees

The registration fee for the symposium on Friday is $200.00.  The fee includes tuition, breakfast, lunch, breaks, online syllabus and certificates of attendance.

Registration for the symposium and the Alumni weekend can be found on the Alumni Weekend Registration Portal. 

Cancellation

A refund will be made upon written request prior to February 1, 2024; however, $75 will be retained for administrative costs. No refunds will be made after February 1, 2024. We reserve the right to cancel the program if necessary. Full registration fees will be refunded for canceled programs. By registering for this conference, you agree to this cancellation policy.
