The composite results will offer important insights into both macro-level issues related to timing of inter-ICU transfer and nuanced perspectives obtained from real-world ICU families. These multidimensional insights obtained from this project has the potential to inform evidence-based, patient-centered transfer procedures, policies, and guidelines in the future.
